I graduated from the University of North Texas with a BA in English-Creative Writing & Poetry. For a brief time, I pursued a MFA in Industrial Design at Parsons, The New School of Design.

Responsible for leading end-to-end marketing functions which encompassed product dev, product releases, content management, event planning and press communications.

Assisted with the development of licensed and exclusive products from client concept approval to final sample approval.

Built and oversaw integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels (newsletter, social media, in-person activations & press).

Involved with leading brand voice, product storytelling and co-marketing with industry partners and collaborators like A24, NeueHouse and more.

Responsible for booking talents (photographers, editors, vendors, graphic designers) and negotiating rates for various campaigns.

Delivered seamless on-time fragrance launches from conception to completion.

Cultivated relationships with vendors, artists and talent to source fragrance components and assets.

Overall, learned how to collaborate creatively with a small team that needed a high level of efficiency for a multitude of marketing needs.

B SIDES Jeans,  Marketing Assistant   January 2019 - August 2020

Assisted with marketing strategy by conceptualizing and designing
digital assets to support the brand’s messaging and social engagement.

Submitted casting direction research for upcoming editorial and
e-commerce projects.

Assisted with design, print, and layout needs for promotional support (i.e., newsletters and social media posts).

Created and assisted with the direction of B SIDES SS19 Visual Guide.

Ultimately, gathered experience with learning how to execute deliverables and relay relevant copy under the scope of quick turnarounds and longterm projects.  

CASTING by Margeaux,  Freelance Assistant  2019

Assisted with creating and formatting casting decks for go-sees.

Provided administrative support, like maintaining sign-in sheets, preparing decks, and providing guided instructions for models during go-sees.

Researched and performed street scouting for various briefs expected by brands.

Everlane,  New York,  NY   August 2018 - February 2020

Assisted and interfaced with customer’s interested in learning more about Everlane’s product, mission, and values.

Gained a unique understanding of how product is positioned and visually merchandised.

Communicated and collaborated with team and floor leaders to deliver exceptional shopping experiences.

Provided expertise on brand products, including style and fit advice to various patrons.

Processed purchases, returns, and exchanges.

Overall, gained insightful exposure to the retail strategy and metrics used by a brand invested in sustainable fashion practices.

Selected to serve administrative support roles for corporate clients and diverse industries, such as financial firms and tech startups.

Expected to manage front desk reception by maintaining log books, sign-ins, and incoming shipments.

Facilitated daily operations including sorting correspondences, fielding questions, and organizing schedules.

Assigned to roles that involved fielding calls, providing customer service, and rapidly resolving customer issues.

Ensured a high degree of professionalism and efficiency in performing various office tasks and support.

Such experience ultimately taught me how to adjust to various setting and gave me the experience needed to quickly adapt to varied roles that may initially be beyond my skill set.
         

The Last Magazine,  Editorial Intern   2018
Worked closely under the guidance of the art director to ensure efficient and productive workflow for the preparation of their 20th anniversary issue.

Provided administrative support which included scanning and preparing imagery, formatting layouts, creating graphic assets, and photo research.

Assisted in concept development: worked on branding and casting research for the magazine’s creative agency.

Suggested materials, artists, new brands, and potential subjects for editorial coverage.

Researched materials and provided design insights for product development needed for their e-commerce site.

Overall, gained a greater understanding of the editorial process and planning needed to fully execute a bi-annual issue. I also gained great exposure to what is expected of a collaborative environment at a creative agency.
